Southern Wyoming Properties For Sale

Southern Wyoming is an area of the country full of recreational ranch real estate opportunities. Some of the countries best live water trout fisheries including the North Platte River and the Encampment River flow through this area. Mountain ranges such as the Snowy Range, Sierra Madre’s, and Laramie range are also full of  fly fishing opportunities in mountain streams and back-country lakes. The hunting ranches for sale in Southern Wyoming are also second to none. Large herds of elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, and antelope call Southern Wyoming ranches home. Many Southern Wyoming Ranches for sale contain trophy quality animals of each species. Southern Wyoming ranchland is also easily accessible from the cities of Laramie, Cheyenne, Wheatland, Saratoga, and Rawlings.

We currently have two Southern Wyoming ranches for sale and one under contract. The OX Ranch and Fire Creek Canyon Ranch are located in the Laramie Mountains. The Laramie Mountains are a lower elevation mountain range in Wyoming known for less snowfall and trophy elk and deer hunting. The Laramie Mountains also have some great fly fishing in the Laramie River, North Laramie River, Horseshoe Creek, and Boxelder Creek. Both Fire Creek Canyon Ranch and OX Ranch qualify for landowner elk and deer tags along with having fishing opportunities.

Our other Southern Wyoming Ranch for sale is Cozy Canyon Ranch. This ranch sits at the base of the Sierra Madre mountain range adjoining Medicine Bow National Forest. This ranch has great elk and deer hunting along with 2.5 miles of live water and five trophy trout ponds. This ranch is less that 30 minutes from Saratoga, Wyoming and the famed fly fishing of the North Platte and Encampment Rivers.
