This year Dave and Hunter Harrigan were able to elk hunt in in Wyoming’s Area 7. Area 7 is know by many as Wyoming’s premier trophy elk area. What we love about Wyoming is the fact that you can bow hunt, and if you are unable to take an elk, you can then use that same tag to rifle hunt. This gives you roughly 3 months to take a good quality animal. Being very busy with ranch real estate,we weren’t able to hunt as much as we would have liked. In spite of work interfering with our hunting, both of us were able to take a nice Wyoming elk.
