Harrigan Land Company’s Moriah Ranch sale was recently named the Public Lands Deal of the Year by The Land Report. The Moriah Ranch was sold to the State of Wyoming in April of 2012. This prime 14,000 Wyoming ranch for sale was only on the market a couple of months before the State of Wyoming put the ranch under contact. The grazing income, mineral rights, water rights, and recreational attributes all made the Moriah Ranch appealing for purchase.
The Moriah is an outstanding Wyoming hunting and cattle ranch with valuable water rights and mineral rights as well as pristine big game habitat. A common site on this Wyoming hunting property is large herds of 100+ elk. The ranch sits in Wyoming Elk Area 7, which is widely recognized as one of the premier trophy elk units in the state. In addition to trophy elk, this Wyoming ranch for sale also had dense populations of mule deer and antelope. Trout fishing in three large lakes as well as Duck Creek provide additional recreation for friends and family.
